Blair
Atholl

Marc
Player, CEO of Black Knight International announced, Blair Atholl
the Players home for decades, is obviously very near and dear to the Player
familys heart and we very carefully selected Wraypex over several international
developers to create what we trust will be something truly special and remain
our family seat. Wraypex is a South African company and we wanted to keep Blair
Atholl in local hands. Besides an 18-hole Gary Player designed golf course, Black
Knight International will have offices on the property and our family will build
the first new home on site. Robby Wray, CEO of Wraypex also stressed that
they intent upon retaining the horses, stables and paddocks within the estate
which is synonymous with
Blair Atholl.
The
18-hole Gary Player Signature design promises to be truly spectacular.
The
features of the site include wonderful elevation changes and the opportunity to
build holes along the beautiful Crocodile River, which borders the estate. Further,
Wraypex has made significant commitments that will give the Gary Player design
team flexibility to focus on designing a masterpiece. First, the extremely low-density
residential concept will provide ample space top create an unparalleled golf and
living experience. Gary Player commented that the projected construction budget
for the course will provide a foundation to build one of the finest golf courses
in South Africa, as well as throughout
the world.
After
12 arduous months of planning this is certainly what Blair Atholl promises to
be - extremely low density, almost 1 dwelling per 2 hectares, a championship golf
course, nature reserve, equestrian facilities, state of the art security - 2.5
km north of Lanseria Airport and a mere 15 minutes from Fourways.
Blair
Atholl is bordered by the Cradle of Humankind to the West and the Rhenosterspruit
Nature Conservatory to the North, ensuring wonderful views and an African country
feeling for the future.
